Sep 18, Malbadeen rated it it was amazing. I was interested in the Dominican history if it wasn’t fictionalized, not sure and somewhat curious about what made Oscar’s life brief, but not enough to wade through a bunch of trash to get there.
But I was lost for all the anime, video game, comic, and role playing mentions. But if you think sex is all-powerful, imagine the people who epitomize it. Is there really a curse or only life and bad choices that can prove fatal? I have tended to neglect the Latin American masters of magical realism because of foolish biases in expectation.
