It is a brilliant book: That made my work more interesting and enjoyable, but also imposed, I felt, a responsibility: His ability to explain the most difficult concepts with the most simple language is what separates him from any other author. In his famous tournament book Bronstein says, if I recall correctly, that he was unable to find a win in the post-mortem. It’s the only tournament I have the book on. Nothing in violation of United States law.
This work captures the excitement of this iconic tournament, whilst being a great source of instruction for the ambitious learner who also enjoys the history of the game. These are excellent booksalmost classicsfrom one of the best teachers of his time.
